Hans’ Bier Haus is known as “a little oasis in the middle of the city.”  What could be more of an oasis from the hubbub of traffic than a crowd of welcoming regulars who all appreciate good beer and good conversation? It’s hard for me to choose what I am going to drink because there are always so many new and unique beer selections.  Ask for a chocolate-covered banana, it’s a banana Lambic and Young’s Double Chocolate Stout. They have just the right glass for the right beer. Take your frosty one out to the biergarten where if it’s a Sunday evening you can watch live music, if it’s movie night you can check out a classic splayed against the white wall, and if it’s any night you can be 15 degrees cooler under the old catamaran sails that shade the deck.
