Houston Green Scene joins the Galveston Bay Foundation in Burnet Bay as they preserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources of Galveston Bay. Over 35,000 acres of wetlands during the last fifty years have been lost due to subsidence but the community-based habitat restoration program, called “Marsh Mania,” has been working hard to involve thousands of citizen volunteers and restore hundreds of acres of wetlands and they are LOOKING FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS!

My family moved to America several years ago and I do not allow my children to watch any television here, but your programing is something that I will allow them to see. This segment is so wholesome and educational. Keep up the good work, Blockcast!
